A HEART CAPABLE OF HEARING

February 26, 2024
We still continue to offer free English classes with a Bible lesson. It is very pleasant to spend time seeking and knowing God.
Prophet Hosea says: “Sow to yourselves righteousness, reap mercy, break up your fallow ground; for it is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and rains righteousness upon you.” (Hosea 10:12)
According to this Scripture, to reap mercy, you must sow in righteousness. Sowing in truth is an action. The Apostle Paul says that we only reap what we sow: “Be not deceived. God is not mocked. For whatever a man sows, that will he also reap. For the one who sows to his flesh will from the flesh reap corruption, but the one who sows to the Spirit will from the Spirit reap eternal life.” (Galatians 6:7-8)
Time to seek the Lord! While we still have the breath of life, we have the opportunity to seek Him. How? The Prophet Hosea says – by breaking up the fallow ground, i.e. the unplowed hard soil of the heart. Whenever we read or hear the Word, do we have a soft heart that can hear His voice? Do we take this opportunity to read God’s Word for granted, just like a habit, until our hearts become cold as ice and hard as stone? If so, then go to your secret closet with your Bible and cry out to Him who says, “Is not My word like fire, says the Lord, and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?” (Jeremiah 23:29 )
Only then will the Lord come and rain down His blessings. He will shed the truth, He will reveal Himself to you through His Word in such a way that your heart will perceive Him in a living way.
Let us thirst for this water, which flows like a stream into eternal life!
