HAPPY NEW YEAR 2023!

January 6, 2023

“And you shall remember that the Lord your God led you all the way these forty years in the wilderness, to humble you and test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments or not.”

‭‭(Deuteronomy 8:2)

“Now my days are swifter than a runner; They flee away, … They pass by like swift ships, Like an eagle swooping on its prey.” (Job 9:25-26)

Dear friends, this year ended with another event that we held at Christmas. We invited the refugees to our home for a Christmas dinner, where we read the story of the birth of our Lord and Savior into this world. Glory to God in the highest, and now on earth man can be reconciled with Him. If you only think about the fact that my Creator descended to me – His creation, in order to become a Servant to me and each of us. So we must serve others – our neighbors.

Time is precious, it vanishes like steam. The Lord leads us through many things, teaching us lessons in order to draw us closer to Him.

We are so psychologically arranged that positive emotions do not arise in us on their own until a clear goal is set to give meaning to our lives. Whatever a person convinces himself of and whatever goals he pursues, satisfaction only comes when we do His will. We need to remember where we are going, what we are doing, and why we are doing it. The pleasures of life and selfish desires will never lead us to a satisfied state. This is an illusion. A noble cause fills life with meaning.

May the Lord bless you in the new year and help us to be only closer to Him by reading His Word and submitting to His will!
