“But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. These are the generations of Noah. Noah was a just man and blameless among his contemporaries. Noah walked with God.” (Genesis 6:8-9)
Dear friends, I continue to share about our visit to the Noah’s Ark Encounter replica museum.
According to what is happening in the world now, we understand that everything is moving towards an inevitable end. The Lord said that the end times would be similar to the days of Lot and Noah. Back then the corruption of mankind reached such a climax that God repented of having created man and was grieved in His heart (Genesis 6:6).
Although we have the promise that the whole world will not go through another calamity of a global flood and the rainbow is a sign of this, humanity is still striving for the same moral decline as it was in the time of Noah. Moreover, it is the very rainbow that became a symbol of rebellion against the will of God today, thus mocking God’s Covenant with humanity. If previously this was done secretly, now it is done in front of the world public, in particular at such an event as the opening ceremony of the Olympic Games in Paris. What happened there was madness, which caused indignation even among secular people who have nothing to do with the followers of Christ. Although the organizers say that they did not have Leonardo da Vinci’s painting “The Last Supper” in mind, but that the inspiration was a work by an unknown Dutch artist Jan Harmens van Bijlert called “Feast of the gods,” I still think they did it intentionally, mocking Christians and their principles. After all, it is possible that the author of this painting himself did it with the same intent, because during the so-called Renaissance (which means “rebirth” in French), people reconsidered their ideals and beliefs, moving away from what they thought were “primitive” beliefs towards so-called enlightenment, making man, not God, the center of all attention. This is called humanism.
Perhaps someone will think that this is just the craziness of secular society without any hidden agenda. However, other opening ceremony scenes symbolically point to planned world events, such as the 2012 London Olympics opening ceremony, that many believe, predicted a global pandemic. Is it a coincidence?
Maybe the people who took part in this ceremony did not even realize what they were doing, but the spirit of the Antichrist already dominates the world and the coming of the man of sin and the son of lawlessness is near.
Friends, this is not surprising, because we live in the last days. And if your relationship with the Lord is right, then we can only lift up our heads and wait for our deliverance and eternal bliss with our cherished Savior.
Just as Noah was not taken from the Earth, but went through that catastrophe of the Great Flood, so the Church will soon face difficult times of persecution and atrocities. However, despite all this, Noah and his family were under the protection of God. I imagine how, hearing the heart-rending screams of drowning people, Noah’s family knelt down and prayed, perhaps for God to have mercy on them or to give thanks to Him for not suffering this terrible fate.
Dear brother, dear sister, is your lamp trimmed and ready? Do you have enough oil or is your condition like a dying lamp, or maybe even completely extinguished? How do you assess your state – hot or cold? Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.
Regardless of all the immoral filth that surrounded him and his family during those times, he remained righteous and blameless in his generation. How did he do it? How did the only family manage to do this? Did he have any doubts about his way? Of all the inhabitants of the earth, only he and his family? Noah, what was the reason of your unshakable confidence? He walked with God. He was able to hear His voice and distinguish between good and evil. No, not like today, when Christians are so immersed in the abyss of politics that they defend their “truth” at the expense of another truth, when evil is called evil only where it is beneficial. This is what the Pharisees did. They were interested in politics and power, and compromised with Roman officials.
Friend, my fellow Christian, leave it! The world is coming to an unavoidable end. Our Fatherland is in heaven. The world knows and accepts its own, but we are not of the world. It hates us. Do not be ashamed of the truth, live according to it and spread it while it is still day, for the night is coming when no one can do anything.
As Paul once said, “Strive to show yourself approved unto God, a workman who need not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” (2 Timothy 2:15).
We are all descendants of Noah and we should follow his example. Another catastrophe is coming to all the nations – the Judgment of the Lord, which no one can escape. The Lord still gives mercy and grace through His Son Jesus Christ. Honor the God of heaven and earth and follow Him and you will live forever!
May the Lord bless and keep us!
